Happy Holidays!

I have been offering workshops in Boston called - Lessons Learned from a 1st Time Author. It's based on my experience writing a book and all the behind the scenes details that are involved.

I received a number of requests to make a CD recording. Voila! It's here!

They are ready to go and can make it in time as a holiday gift. So if you know someone who has always said, "I want to write a book," here's a treat for them.

Details about the CD are below.

Have a wonderful holiday season!

Best - Diane

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q:  I'm writing a non-business book.  Will the information apply to me?

A:  Yes, no matter what type of book you want to write, you need to know what is expected from you as an author.  This information will greatly help you negotiate your advance and have your book be a success.

Q:  I want to self-publish and noticed you worked with McGraw-Hill.  Will the information apply?

A:  Self-publishing is a terrific way to get your book out there.  It also means you need to do the inventory, distribution and other aspects in addition to your work as a writer.  At the workshop, you will be provided with some resources if you want to self-publish.

Q:  Does the workshop include a copy of The Networking Survival Guide?

A:  Since some of the attendees already have purchased the book, it will not be included as a part of the workshop.  However, if you would like to purchase one they will be available.
