Dr. Pepper and Networking . . .

Remember the Dr. Pepper ad campaign ..... 10, 2, 4?

Those were the times you were to take a break and drink a Dr. Pepper ~ 10 am, 2 pm and 4 pm.

Consider taking a break at 10, 2, and 4 . . . put in a random call to someone you've been thinking about.

Or walk to the coffee machine and say hello to someone in your office you haven't talked with in awhile (or maybe never talked with them).

This doesn't need to be a big project or task. Simply take 5 minutes to take a deep breath and connect.

AND if you're REALLY brave - after the 5 minute break, check your email. Try ONLY answering your email 3 times a day - 10, 2, and 4. Then you aren't distracted all day long and others learn how you work.

You are more than welcome

to share this email with someone else ...
