Help yourself to a sneak preview

When people attend my programs they receive a "networking diploma." It's a small business card with networking tips.

Recently I received several emails letting me know about a typo. Instead of business "cards" the word was "cars."

Some said they felt badly about telling me about the typo but thought I would want to know.

I realized how lucky I am that people give me feedback (well - lucky depends on what the feedback actually is).

NOTE: Feedback is meant to be helpful and constructive; Criticism is often focused on what is negative.

Think for a moment - when was the last time someone gave you feedback? How did you receive it? If you are not getting feedback, I would encourage you to enlist some in your network to do so.

Cheers, Diane

Speaking of cars - I was in a fender bender and may be in the market for a replacement. If I was a car, what kind of a car would I be?
